Neodymium-doped Yttrium Aluminum Garnet, commonly known as Nd:YAG or Q-Switched lasers, primarily operates at wavelengths of 1064 nm and 532 nm and utilizes continuous-wave or long-pulsed delivery. Our Nd:YAG laser employs the principle of selective photothermolysis, whereby melanin selectively absorbs the energy emitted by the laser. This energy is rapidly converted into thermal energy, resulting in the instantaneous disruption of pigmented tissues, which are subsequently eliminated through the body's metabolic processes. This technology allows for precise targeting of cells while minimizing damage to surrounding tissues.
Comes standard with three different treatment heads that contain different wavelengths: 532nm/1064nm/1320nm and can reach a maximum power of 1600mj. Whereas other Nd:YAG’s can only reach 1000mj.
